This module allows to overcome the issue described in #932704: Failed node import from csv file with mapped nid for Drupal 6.
The module creates fake rows in the node and node_revisions table if there is no node with that specific nid to update since Drupal 6 can not create a node with a set nid, but only update it. By creating those rows Drupal thinks that the node exits and just updates the fake rows with the imported data.
This module will not be updated much, since it's a fix for Drupal 6, which will be not supported when Drupal 8 comes out. This module is to help people who plan using Feeds in Drupal 6 to import nodes.
Installation
Just enable the module and it will do it's thing

The functionality of this module was submitted as a patch against the core Feeds module. If the patch will be accepted then this module will be abandoned.
