Project Tracking allows users to create publicly displayed documentation of a project's progress. It includes a custom display that has a countdown timer for each project in the form of a airport departure time flipboard with additional information displayed at the bottom.
Project Tracking creates a content type called Project to be used to record all project information for the flipboard. A Project has several fields, including Client Code for an internal code identifying the client, Project Status, Employees, and Milestones. Each project can have a list of employees attached to it and a list of milestones. These are displayed when the project name is selected on the release board, located at /release-board.
A Project that is marked as completed or canceled is no longer displayed on the release board. It is still stored as a piece of content in the CMS to be utilized in future updates. Projects can be marked as either On Time or Delayed, which will be used for reporting in the future.
Note: The description field is currently unused, with plans to utilize it in a future release. It can be left blank or filled out so projects created before the next release will still have descriptions to display.
