Characteristics

This drupal module presents the following functionalities:

1. Insertion of service providers with full contact and other details (Address, E-mail and/or telephone numbers, category/field of work, a keyword that will help find a service provider easily, service rating, and eventual comments on services).
2. Search for service providers by:
   • Name (accepts partial names too) of the service provider.
   • Category of work.
   • Last registered service providers (last 20).
   • Geolocation: by actual location or default location.
3. A list of service providers are shown based on the type of research used, from which every user can comment, rate, modify (only the user who registered the service can do this) the service provider, view and even add a new service provider.
4. Every registered service provider receives comments from users and can be rated through a five-star voting feature.
5. The service provider detail page that will be displayed contains all the registered information, an average of the five-star ratings received, number of positive and negative recommendations and all comments made on that specific service provider.
6. The modification of registered service provider details can only be done by the user who inserted those details.
7. The upload of service categories can be done only by the administrator of the drupal instance, from the administrator dashboard through a JSON file (All previously uploaded files or data will be deleted; mind that also all user-generated content will be deleted to preserve data consistency and intergrity).
   Mind also that the service provider category types must have a dept of exactly two levels.
8. Registered and Logged-in users can :
   • Insert o create one or more service provider profiles on the platform.
   • Modify one or more service provider details created by the same user.
   • Search for service providers and view their details (this can also be done by non logged-in users).
   • Search for service providers by default location and view their details .
   • Search for service providers by actual location and view their details (this can also be done by non logged-in users).

Installation

First install the fivestar, voting API and geolocation modules and activate them
Install the passaparola module.

Note

The registration and recommendation of services are not seen as Drupal contents.
Service provider details can not be cancelled with the exception of comments and rating on service providers created by other users.
