Banner Image

Have you ever had to display different images in the banner for different pages?. Have you ever had to write css for each page or create context for each page?. Not anymore because Banner Image is here. :)

Banner Image lets you.

1. Attach images to menu items and display those images only on those pages.
2. Set a default image incase an image is not provided for the menu item.
3. Link these images to different pages on the site.
4. Set style for the image.
5. Set the directory where the image should be stored.
6. Have a complete UI experience for uploading images.

Here is how it works

1. Create a menu and add some links to it.
2. While creating a menu item under Banner Image Settings.
1. Upload the image.
2. Select the image style.
3. Link the image to a path (optional).
4. Save the menu item.
3. Now go to the Structure > Blocks page and look for the block named 'Banner Image' and place it in the desired region.
4. Save the blocks page and visit the page you added the image to.

Note:
If an image is not provided the module looks for banner image in the parent menu item and if the parent menu item has a banner image, it will display it. If the parent menu item too does not have a banner image it will look for its parent menu item, it will keep climbing up the menu tree until it finds a banner image. And if the entire menu tree does not have a banner image it will display the banner image set in the admin setting page.
