Views Floorplan

Views Floorplan provides a "floorplan" style plugin for Views, which allows users to map out locations on a building floorplan, non-geocoded maps (i.e. park map), or any image.

Floorplan points may also be labelled with custom HTML, and be given a default color or a color provided by a field. Custom CSS and Javascript may be used in lieu of the defaults, which slides labels in and out upon clicking a point. Finally, an optional map legend (collapsible) may be created, which maps colors to categories.

Basic Setup

Once the module is enabled, go to admin/config/user-interface/views_floorplan to set up the module. You will need the following:

- A 'floorplan' and 'floorplan point' content type.
- An entity reference field pointing from the point to the floorplan
- Two decimal fields for X and Y coordinates
- An image field within the floorplan content type
- Optional: Custom CSS an JS for overriding the defaults

You may also enable the "Floorplan Example" module to auto-generate a default set of fields and an example view.

Once these are set up, a floorplan tool will pop up when editing a floorplan point + selecting a floorplan with a valid image. Views will then use the floorplan data to render the points on the floorplan map.
