Role based Email Login

This module allows the users having configured role to Login with Email address only.

If your application doesn't contains any sensitive data or your user don't have any administrative permissions that will require users to Login With password,
in such case you can use this module and configure the role to allow login with email address only
then the users having only the configured role can login with their registered email address.

Note:

Users having configured roles with some other roles can't login with email.

Sample Use Case

Suppose your website offers users to download some documents like whitepapers or something and also you need to track the users activity.
So, in this case you have to give login to user but also don't want headache of password
to user for just simple activity.
In this case you can use this module to configure that user role and allow users to login just with Email address.

WARNING

• This Module has Security implications as it allows to login just on Email id.
• Anyone can Login as another user by just knowing Email id.

Similar Projects and Difference

- Passwordless : Passwordless sends Login link through mail whereas Role based Email Login allows user to login directly without sending email.

- Email Registration : Email Registration allows users to login with email address and password whereas Role based Email Login allows users with configured role to login with email address only.
