Spam Bot Blocker

Overview

"Spam Bot Blocker" blocks SPAM submitted through forms. It is a sub-module of CAPTCHA that is unique in three ways:

1. Users can create their own local CAPTCHA Content (it's a normal Drupal Content Type) or,
2. Users can use the SpamBotBlocker.com community CDN to serve CAPTCHA's, and
3. for either service (local or CDN), not only do users create their own questions and answers, they upload an image or graphic to which the question relates.

Since anybody can upload any image and create an infinite amount of possible image related question/answer combinations, it makes it almost impossible for bots to pass.

Features

1. Self created or "community" created image/question/answer challenges.
2. You can easily leave the same image and just change the question/answer anytime
3. You can make "Personalized" challenges that relate to your business. So, for example if you were a bakery you could upload bakery images and ask questions that relate.
4. "Built In" Honeypot. You can use or not use it, just a check box
5. Settings for:
   1. Set amount of "Maximum Fails Allowed" before being "Denied" using of form for a period of time (see below)
   2. Set "Form Deny Time" (how long they have to wait before the form is accessible again) if "Maximum Fails Allowed" is reached.
   3. Set "Use integrated Honeypot", yes or no and you can also name the field whatever you like
   4. Set or Use the "Permanent Ban" feature.
   5. If using "Permanent Ban" feature, Set maximum "Denied" (above) count before being banned
   6. Review "Banned IP's" list and manage (can delete from "Banned" table if you like)

Using the CDN for CAPTCHA served content

You DO NOT NEED to use the CDN, it's only included as an option. You can freely create your own content if you like but if you want the benefit of using and maybe helping out (by adding some of your own to the service), please give it a shot. You will need to create an account at SpamBotBlocker.com to get your Site Key.

Known Issues

"Spam Bot Blocker" tries to make it as simple as pie for people but difficult for SPAM Bots. The system is built on clicking the right "Radio" button. SPAM bots may get lucky and choose the right one... but sure is a nice fast system that make humans smile.
