This module displays entities using panels and layouts. It allows to define different panel settings for any view modes of any entity types and any entity bundles.
This module is similar to Panelizer, but avoids its complexity. The main difference: Panelizer module allows to provide different configuration for distinct entities, while Entity Panels module provides single configuration for the whole view mode of the entity bundle.
Page Manager is used to define the configuration for the view modes, so you must know how to work with Page Manager and Panels.
Instructions
- Select entity types to panelize (Configuration -> Content authoring -> Entity panels settings).
- Check the required view modes in the "Custom display settings" tab on the "Manage display" Field UI page for the required entity bundles.
- Enable the panelization for the particular view modes of entity bundles (Structure -> Pages -> Panelized entities).
- Configure the enabled view modes by adding variants in Page manager.
