Dropbox App

Sandbox project to integrate Drupal with the Dropbox Apps.

Note: similar projects exists. This is an API-integration-only project and does not provide any functionality out of the box. You should only install this module if you are installing a module that requires this module or you are a developer looking to leverage the Dropbox App APIs.

I also investigated the following modules, but for various reasons they were unsuitable for the task I had at hand.

• Dropbox Client: stores app key/secret in module code, uses outdated SDK, uses OAuth 1.0 (Dropbox uses 2.0), don't need the blocks this module creates.
• Dropbox Integration: concerns over storage of Dropbox credentials, currently listed as "seeking new maintainer" (last commit was three years ago), geared mainly at sending files to users not access the contents of their dropbox store.

The Drupal 7 version of this module requires the Libraries API module. You also must download the Dropbox SDK to your sites/all/libraries/dropbox_sdk folder. The Drupal 8 version ships with a Composer file that will download the SDK for you (run composer install from the module's root directory).
