This module provides an integration with the Stripe Managed Accounts feature from Stripe Connect, so you can build a payment platform, allowing your users to have an affiliated Stripe account and receive payments using the Stripe APIs, under your platform control.
The module includes a submodule Stripe Managed Accounts User that easily integrates a Stripe Managed Account with a Drupal user.
This module depends on Stripe API and Libraries modules, as well as the Stripe PHP library.
This module is maintained by an independent developer and is no associated with Stripe, Inc. Stripe is a registered trademark of Stripe, Inc.
Stripe Connect
Here is a brief explanation about Stripe Connect, taken from Stripe website:
Stripe Connect is for accepting money on behalf of others, and gaining access to their data. This functionality is available in every country Stripe supports.
You might use Connect if you:
- Are building a platform that enables e-commerce, as Squarespace or Shopify do.
- Need to easily accept payments and pay out your service providers, like Lyft with its drivers or Handy with its workers. (You can even create Stripe accounts for your users, so they only ever interact with your platform.)
- Want to tap into your users’ data to provide analytics or any other business insights. Baremetrics is a good example of a service that does this.
In general, if you’re building a platform or marketplace that needs to pay third-parties or building applications that help Stripe users do more with their account or their data, Connect is likely the right solution for you.

Stripe Managed Accounts
Here is a brief explanation about Stripe Managed Accounts, taken from Stripe website:
A managed Stripe account will be almost completely invisible to the account holder: you will be responsible for all interactions with them and for collecting any information Stripe needs.
With managed accounts, you will have the ability to change their bank account information and modify any other information on their Stripe account programmatically. Since these users won’t be able to log into Stripe (and will most likely not even know they own a Stripe account), it’s up to you to build any onboarding, dashboard, reporting, and communication flows with them.
