Unicode

Unicode module converts unicode characters to html entities so that drupal may
store them correctly in mysql.

This module only does this conversion prior to saving entities by looping over the defined properties of the entity and only converts properties of type text & formatted text.

Other modules may extend this module with hook_unicode_allowed_properties_alter(&$allowed_properties) to support additional properties and define a custom callback for conversion.

Requirements

Entity API Module

INSTALLATION

Simply enable the module and go to admin/config/content/unicode
and choose which entities should be checked for conversion or which should be excluded depending on your selected strategy.

SECURITY CONCERN

There should be no security concern as this escapes unicode characters to
html entities only.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

This does sadly not work with node title...
