Save Disk Space

Welcome to Save Disk Space!

Save Disk Space module helps you to save memory disk space by deleting the
unused iamges in the website.

For example, if a user creates a node with image attachment and later he/she deletes
the node, the attached image will still be maintained in the database with inactive
status as well as in the sites/default/files folder.

This module helps in listing the inactive images so that user can review and delete
the image to save memory space.

Installation

To install this module, place it in your modules folder in the root folder of the website
and enable it on the modules page.

This module needs the Drupal core Image and File modules to function.

Using Save Disk Space

1. Go to Administration › Configuration › Save Disk Space.
2. Here you can see all the ununsed images from the website.
3. You can see the image name, thumbnail view of the image,
Image path by hovering on the thubmnail image, image created date and Delete link.
4. Clicking the "Delete image" link will delete the image
