The module adds 2 new Views Bulk Operations actions: Export to csv and export to Excel.

For export to excel functionality, the PHPExcel library (https://github.com/PHPOffice/PHPExcel/releases) needs to be placed in the site libraries folder.

NOTE: PHPExcel Release 1.8.1 has a bug, PHPExcel 1.8.0 is recommended.

Drupal 8

The new 8.x-2.x releases include integration with the new Views Bulk Operations for Drupal 8.

The 8.x-1.x provides only basic export functionality - export of node entity type view results to csv and xlsx without the "strip tags" setting or exporting in a batch operation but no VBO dependency.

To use "export to Excel" functionality, either use composer to install PHPExcel library:
composer require phpoffice/phpexcel 1.8.0

or download the library and place it in /libraries/PHPExcel folder.
