Purpose:
- Create Affilaite Links or any External Links Quickly
- Change the external links to another domain anytime
- Help Amazon Affialites and eBay affialites. Swtich between the two anytime. Change Amaozn affialite ID anytime.
What does the module do?
This module will allow you to add a Special URL button to your CKEdiotr. In the configuration page you will be able to add a prefix and a suffix to any keyword that you choose while writing on your editor.
Why do you need this?
Let's say you are an Amazon or eBay affiliate. Instead of going to Amazon or eBay to generate your affiliate links, you can quickly create affiliate links by pressing the Special URL link button. Here are a few other advantages of this module: You can switch all links from Amazon affiliate to eBay EPN to any other site that you like in two seconds. Even for links in content already published. If you are an Amazon affiliate, for example, you will be able to change the associate ID anytime. Or switch all your links to eBay EPN or any other site that you like.
How to install?
- Install the module
- Enable Special URL module
- Go to Configuration - Content authorina - Text Formats
- Choose the text formal where you want to see Special URL button
- Move the special URL button to the Active toolbar
- Under Special URL settings define your Prefix and Suffix

Make sure to change your tag under suffix settings.

Suffix: &tag=yourid-20

eBay setup
(You will need to have an eBay EPN account approved for this.)
The easiest way to create eBay affiliate links.
Enter http://www.ebay.com/sch/ in prefix and leave the rest blank. Then use the script that eBay provides to create smart eBay links. You can learn more about eBay smart linking here. You can verify it is working by check to see if the links point to rover.ebay.com/
Or you can include the camapinID in the prefix url if you don't want to go the eBay smart links way.
Alternative you can direct all the searches to any other site that you like.
You can change these links any time in the future simply by going to Special URL in the Text formats and editors settings and changing prefix and suffix for SpecailURL
