This Drupal 7 module enhances Membership Entity and Membership Entity Commerce to allow membership upgrades and downgrades. It provides this functionality by calculating a pro-rated discount of the remaining time on an active membership, and applying that to a purchase of a new discount.

Installation
After downloading/installing this module as usual, you will have a rule that will automatically add a rule to prorate discounts, with no further interaction necessary.
You can add conditions to this rule to limit prorating between certain products, or for particular roles.
