External Sources allows you to manage a collection of remote Drupal instances, storing the necessary credentials to access them. This module does nothing in itself, it is used by others modules like Externodes.
A main dependency is Services 6.x-0.15 (late 2009), and no later. Unfortunately Services has changed its definitions hooks quite a lot since then, so newer versions of Services are not supported.
