Noggin

Noggin module allows you to upload a custom header image on the Theme Settings page, just as you can for the logo and favicon. Also included are 12 sample header images.

Are you wondering about this modules name? Noggin is an English slang word for head.

Features in the current DEV version:

Usage

Simply enable Noggin module, upload your header image, and you're ready to rock. If you're looking for interesting tiled background images, try Pattern8, StripeMania, BgPatterns, EveryDay Icons, or my personal favorite: Subtle Patterns.

Themes

With Bartik and other core Drupal themes the header image will appear automatically. For themes that use slightly different markup, you can enter a custom CSS selector for your sites header.

Your theme can include header images (DEV only), simply place your png or jpg images in your theme in a folder name "header-images", i.e. yourtheme/header-images, the folder must be in the theme root.

Settings

The DEV version has many new CSS settings to allow you to position, tile and stretch your image (uses CSS3). You can also set the height of the header, although this may not work in your theme. I will update the README with trouble shooting tips if this does not work as expected in your theme.

Pixture Reloaded and AT Commerce themes

Pixture Reloaded and AT Commerce DEV versions will work with the DEV version of Noggin as of Feb 18th. For all other versions continue to use the 7.x-1.0 version.
