Project Git instructions

This module adds the "Git instructions" tab to certain pages on Drupal.org. This includes modules, themes and installation profiles.

Purpose
This modules is specifically built for use on drupal.org.

If you are hosting Git repositories yourself and make use of the versioncontrol API modules in Drupal then maybe this module can be of service. It has however not been extensively tested on other installations.

Updates
We can distinguish two types of updates to this module:
1) instruction text updates, which can be done via a variable update on the live Drupal.org website
2) module code updates, which need help from the infrastructure team. So these will take more time and consideration

But in all cases just file an issue if you fee something should be changed. A history of changes made to the revisions control tab on drupal.org is on the documentation page Updates to Project Git Instructions's Version control tab on Drupal.org.
