Majordomo

This module provides an interface for majordomo based mailing lists.

It is possible to "create" mailing lists which means actually that existing majordomo based lists are added to drupal. Afterwards users can be added to or removed from this lists.
By making a list public not only administrators with the apropriate permissions but also users with the permission to access public mailing lists may add or remove themselves.

Furthermore it is possible to add all users belonging to a certain role to a list.

The module makes heavy use of drupal's mail interface to accomplish this task. Actually every action produces a mail sent out to the majordomo of the mailing list.
If you have closed lists you may specify the approval password so the module uses the approve PASS [un]subscribe LIST EMAIL command instead of [un]subscribe LIST EMAIL.

For future releases it is planned to react to a change of the email address of a subscribed user and so his old one should be automatically removed from the list and the new one should be added.
