views_braincloud

Overview

This module provides an additional Views plugins, named Braincloud. Braincloud displays taxonomy terms in a HTML5 canvas element using Processing.js.

Processing.js is the sister project of the popular Processing visual programming language. It's not magic, but almost.

Features

The objects are influenced by the vocabulary hierarchy. Every parent attracts his childs.
Custom settings are supported, like background color, font or framerate. More will come...

Tutorial

• Install required modules and views_braincloud
• Insert some taxonomy terms in a vocabulary within a hierarchy (parents)
• Create a View of Type Taxonomy (Taxonomy terms are attached to nodes)
• Add a field to standard view, so no error appears :|
• Add a Page View for the newly created view
  • Set path i.e braincloud/test
  • Choose as Plug-in Style: "Views Braincloud"
  • Change settings if needed
• View "braincloud/test" term animation
