About

Growl notifications is a module which provides a method for sending certain system notifications to a Growl server. This means that you can receive Drupal messages on your computer through Growl.

More usefully, a module to provide a Messaging sending method is provided which allows Drupal sites to push notifications to listening Growl computers. This is particularly useful for Open Atrium based sites on an Intranet where Bonjour machine names or static IP address are known. Instead of receiving email notifications you can now receive Growl notifications.

The merge comments module provides the option of automatically merging two consecutive comments made by the same user in the same node. If enabled this can eliminate accidental double posts as well as serve as a last ditch measure against flooding.

You can decide under which conditions the comments will be merged, what format the newly merged comment will have and which users can disable the merge comments module from merging a specific comment.

Do you want to allow anonymous users to comment, but also want to ensure that the email addresses they enter are THEIRS? Not So Fast creates a new column in the comment approval queue labeled "Email is verified?". When anonymous users post comments, an email is sent to the address they specify. The email contains a link which, when clicked, will register their address as being verified. Site administrators can then determine whether to approve or delete comments based on this new criterion.

Integrate the userpoints system with the webform module and allows individual webform submissions to award points to the submitter. With the upgrade of Webform to v3, the ability to include PHP code within the form submit process was removed and placed into a seperate module (webform_php). Whilst the functionality of the module I have created can be replicated using webform_php, it is not recommended to use this method as it opens up security issues - such as allowing php code to be run from a textfield - something the author is strongly against.

The Sign-Up Problem is a phenomenon where visitors want to contribute content on a website but do not register (and thus do not contribute) because they do not want to fill out the registration form.

This module allows anonymous users to begin creating content immediately, without registering (if they have permission to do so). Once they get engaged on the site, they are more likely to register, at which point all of the posts they created while anonymous will be transferred to their new authenticated user account.
