Canned Texts creates a views generated drop down list widget in the node-form and/or comment-form. By selecting a list item, text is dynamically inserted into the node and/or comment text area fields, at the point of the cursor. Canned Texts works with the views module and adds a new "display" to the views module called "Canned Texts". The "Canned Texts" display provides widget settings for:

• Node Type: Select which node type the widget will appear on.
• Show in: Select if the widget should appear in the comment form or node form.
• Show title: Select if the view title should be shown above the widget.

Content protector allows an arbitrary directory to be protected by Drupal authentication.

For example, a legacy folder that must live inside the webroot of which its contents cannot be viewed without valid Drupal login credentials or a particular user role.

This module achieves this by writing a .htaccess to the protected folder and redirecting all traffic transparently through Drupal.

This modules is a collection of User Experience (UX) improvements to the core comment module. It also adds a few features that are more common in other forum engines.

The development originated from the comment edited module.

This module lets you publish contents directly on your WordPress blog. Using this module, you can configure and publish a node immediately after it has been published on your Drupal site. You don't have to press any link to share your content to your blog. This module also offers options to share the content on per node basis as well as on per content type basis.

Comment Timer module provides an easy-to-use JS timer for the given content type's nodes, with Views support.

Uses the NPR API to generate a block containing NPR stories that are related to the current node. At this time the module can only use the node's taxonomy terms (and term synonyms) to find related stories. The blocks it generates are, however, quite themable with lots of information made available via the NPR API.

This module provides a bookmarklet to allow users to create new nodes while they browse other sites. The bookmarklet opens a jQuery UI Dialog containing an iframe of the Drupal node form.

Usage

This module implements hook_block to expose the link for users to drag to their browser's toolbars. The block configuration allows the site administrator to set the allowed and default content types available in the bookmarklet.

The Node to Word module simply provides two links in the links area of nodes of the enabled content types. These links are:

• Save as Word
• Save as text

This module is in development, but it is also in production use and is stable. Some admin options may not be available as yet, but we're open to suggestion and very open to patches.

I really don't have much time for this project, and the SwiftRiver project is actively developed, and is hard to keep up with it. Maintainers wanted.

This module (will) provides integration between Drupal and SwiftRiver. "SwiftRiver is a free and open source software platform that uses a combination of algorithms and crowdsourced interaction to validate and filter news. It is an open source effort by many contributing people and organizations including Meedan, Appfrica, GeoCommons and Ushahidi."

Allows (fieldable) entities to be translated into different languages, by introducing entity/field translation for the new translatable fields capability in Drupal 7. Maintained by the Drupal core i18n team.

This project does not replace the Internationalization project, which focuses on enabling a full multilingual workflow for site admins/builders. Some features, e.g. content language negotiation or taxonomy translation, might overlap but most of them are unrelated.
