Github deploy used to update your site repository from github using github Webhooks. Whenever you push code to your github repository, Github will make post request to Drupal site and fire updating your site repository.

About Entity Update Module

The main objective of the module Entity Update is allowed module developer and site administrators to update entity types schema even entities have data.

This module resolves the known issue of exporting custom Block configuration but the block let content title/body editable. Good example is footer contact phone or copyright notes. If you have ever done deployment to staging environments, you know the issue.

Module also provides a good starting point for adding new root menu item (Project Configuration) to admin menu, were developers can add custom settings forms.
