The Postmark module allows the administrator to switch the standard SMTP library over to use the third party Postmark API to send out emails from their site. An account with Postmark is required to use this module.

This module needs a new maintainer

This is a collection of modules and tools for Messaging and Notifications, intended for high traffic/high volume web sites.

They won't make Notifications go faster, it will be actually a bit slower when used on a single web server. Though for bigger deployments it can really increase troughput by using drush workers instead of cron and distributing the workload.

MIME Router handles mapping incoming attachments via mailhandler and routing them to the appropriate CCK filefield(s). MIME Router relies on the incoming media MIME type to determine the appropriate filefield to route incoming attachments to. There is no configuration necessary as MIME router relies on the configured CCK filefields allowed file types. MIME router iterates over the available filefields configured for use with mailhandler and drops incoming attachments into the first filefield that allows files of the given type.
