Media

This module allows images to be captured from a user's attached webcam (or camera on a laptop or mobile browser) and uploaded to the server. It provides a field API widget for file and image fields which may be useful for site builders, as well as a form element for module developers.

This module requires a browser that supports getUserMedia to capture images. It was developed for capturing student photos at point of enrolment in a kiosk style environment and and may be useful for other registration and image capture tasks where the browser environment can be controlled.

Overview

This module provides simple integration with Brigthcove Videos just using the token of the account. If you need more complete integration, you can use the module brightcove.

Features

For now, the module provides two ways to instantiate videos

S3 File System (s3fs) provides an additional file system to your drupal site, which stores files in Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) or any other S3-compatible storage service. You can set your site to use S3 File System as the default, or use it only for individual fields. This functionality is designed for sites which are load-balanced across multiple servers, as the mechanism used by Drupal's default file systems is not viable under such a configuration.

This is simply a fork I'll use to submit patches upstream to "Picture".
Mainly, a refactoring of the functions responsible for printing the pictures to allow them to be pluggable / flexible.

Flowplayer adapter for the Video module work with the cutting-edge Flowplayer versions, plugins and features.

I'm creating this module to serve as home for a bunch of hacks, preprocessing and processing code to make Flowplayer works with the Video module. The architecture of the Video module does not provide any hook nor any way to provide your custom players of improve the current community supported ones. So it really needs a lot of work to have a decent way to work with these projects on big sites.

Media entity provides a 'base' entity for media. This is a very basic entity
which can reference to all kinds of media-objects (local files, YouTube
videos, Tweets, Instagram photos, ...). Media entity provides a relation between
Drupal and the media resource. You can reference to/use this entity within any
other Drupal entity.

This module attempts to provide the base storage component for the Drupal 8
media ecosystem.

This module provides a non-intrusive inline upload widget for the Kaltura module. It is also a way to perform a direct upload to Kaltura CDN completely bypassing the Drupal file system.

You can also use this module in conjunction with the MediaFront module, which provides an alternate Media Player UI than the default Kaltura Player.
