Media

This is a very simple module that provides slider blocks to your Drupal site.

Install

This is just a simple module, we can install it as same as other modules.

After install we need download jquery cycle library too. This can be simply done with Drush — run drush atr after enabled this module. If we do not have Drush available, we can download http://malsup.github.io/min/jquery.cycle.all.min.js to ./sites/all/libraries/jquery.cycle/jquery.cycle.all.min.js

Replace the file upload in the Media module with a javascript based uploader using the resumable.js library. This can bypass php file upload limits. A new setting will be added to the Media module and field instance settings for specifying an upload limit.

File De-duplication

The storage back-end uses SHA-256 content-based addressing to store any physical file once (based on its actual content, not its name), no matter how many times it is uploaded.

Multiple uploads of the same file create virtual copies that have their own meta information such as owners and file names.

Granular Permissions

CRUD permissions can be configured per-role, per-file with the included Media Warehouse Roles sub-module.

File permissions are extensible via hooks.

Youtube feed block is a simple module that creates a block of youtube video thumbnails displayed as links to their respective videos. It is specifically designed to give a good control over the videos' thumbnails, and allows the user to crop and rescale them.

Also, this module detects the user's crop and automatically pick the most optimized thumbnail from youtube (since the first one has a higher resolution)

This module provides an integration of popular jquery plugin Jcrop with the Drupal FAPI. Basically it provides a new form element which can be used in your custom forms. This is an API module mostly intended for developers.

As an alternative to soundcloud, mixcloud also offers embedding of songs and their player.

This module is designed to be used with the Community Media Show, VOD Feed, and Project modules to display videos from popular video on demand (VOD) providers like YouTube, Vimeo, Archive.org, and Cloudcast.

The default Views included are:
- Full Library (a searchable library display using Views Isotope for dynamic, tag based filtering)
- Project Library
- Related Videos
