Media has an input filter, and WYSIWYG integration for inserting the syntax for that input filter, but no way to embed media outside WYSIWYG. This module fills that gap, by adding an "insert" link next to media fields. When clicked, the links will insert a reference to the corresponding media file into the body field.

If you want to take this over, just ask. Otherwise, there no plans to develop it further.

Due to the KCFinder project being dead, this module has been abandoned. Consider using IMCE instead.

KCFinder is a multi-language file / image manager you can use to easily select, insert, upload and arrange images, flash movies, and other kinds of files.

KCFinder is licenced GPLv2 & LGPLv2, as in "free" and "open source".

This module integrates the KCFinder file manager to Drupal in 2 ways:

  • Your users will be able to select images / media directly from ckeditor.
  • You can add 2 new tabs to your user's profiles: "Image browser" and "File browser".

You can control which roles can use wich features with different permissions. Users can share a common folder or have different folders depending on the configuration.

Add token based per bundle directory and filename settings for file entities. This module does the same, as Filefield Paths, but focus to the file entity, not to the parent entity. This means, you can easier to handle eg. if a file is uploaded to more entity.

Features

  • Possibly custom configuration for any fieldable entity.
  • If an entity has bundles, you can set up own configuration.
  • You can set the behavior if a file is used in multiple entities.
  • Per configuration settings of transliteration and pathauto cleanup.
  • Works with embed image by media wysiwyg plugin.

Greatly inspired by the Borealis Responsive Image project, this module uses the same image replacement theory, Displaying a small image initially and, as the images get larger, swapping them out for a larger image.

The difference is that Borealis creates 7 new image styles for each image style you make responsive and maps them based on the module's calculated breakpoints.

Vimeo parser for the Feeds module.

This module adds a new parser for Feeds module that makes it possible to parse and import Vimeo video feeds using Advanced API.

The module will ask for your advanced api key and secret given to you by vimeo at http://vimeo.com/api/applications/new

The module currently supports the following methods (but could support many more with little effort):
