Organic Groups (OG)

OG Quick Join allows for people to quickly join your Drupal site and join Organic Groups & Drupal Roles through a form on a block. The roles and Groups available to the user are configurable. The typical use case is to be able to join Organic Groups so as to receive messages from that organic group via the OG Mailing List module. This module is meant to make Drupal work like MailChimp, Mailman, or another e-mail listserv mailing list. This module is best used in conjunction with Captcha or other tools to filter away spam.

THIS MODULE IS UNDER HEAVY DEVELOPMENT AND NOT MEANT FOR PRODUCTION SITES.

OG can take quite a toll on website that rely heavily on it. OG cache tries to cache certain parts of OG for short periods of time, as to increase performance.

Use case

Let's assume that you have dedicated users to monitor your content, group content as well. Since groups has there own way to manage permissions it could happen that these user are not able to access certain contents only if they are group members. In this case somebody have to add them by manually. How odd this is?

This module creates one context per Organic Group.

Prevent access to OG private posts except to privileged users and OG group members.

This module serves to ensure that OG private posts remain private to the Organic Group(s) to which they're posted, regardless of which other modules may be trying to grant access.

Rationale

Under most circumstances and for most simple Drupal installations, Organic Groups will do a fine job of ensuring that group posts marked "private" will only be accessible by group members. It does this by simply refusing to grant access to those nodes.

Just a new thought to get tweets in tagadelic structure.
Won't start to work on it now maybe in few weeks. Just adding a project to remind myself about it.

I am also thinking to write some code in this module to make is work as twitter for ticket logging to drupal system. the concept behind this will be we will be able to log a ticket and assign it to once of our user(agent) when some1 makes a comment with out hashtags or mention.

FatSecret: The Drupal 6 & 7 FatSecret REST API Integration module

This module allows you to integrate FatSecret API and to call all related API function of FatSecret.

This version of the module only works with Drupal 6.x & 7.x.

OG Bulk Add Users is a module to easily add users to an Organic Group group.

The form is the simplest possible: It's just a select with the non-member users. The Chosen module is recommended to make the select more user friendly.

A 'Bulk adding users' tab is added to the 'Add members' tab on the group managment section.

All this requires the 'access user profiles' site-wide permission and the 'add user' OG permission.
