This module is an enhancement to the core Drupal search module, which adds a new tab to the core Search page or can also be used in stand-alone mode. The differences between Search by Page and the existing tabs in the core Search module lie in what is indexed for searching and how it is indexed:

This is a project specifically created for the Google Summer of Code 2009 project Adding RDF Support to the ApacheSolr module (q.v. for more informations; maybe also interesting: this discussion which first introduced the idea).

Its purpose is to allow the Apache Solr Search Integration module to handle arbitrary RDF data.

The project isn't maintained anymore, since I lack both the necessary time and belief in the module's usefulness. Anyone disagreeing on the latter part may take over the project, if they want.

Search Lucene API has reached “end of life” and is deprecated in favor of other projects. View the Search Lucene API project page for more details. As a result, supporting modules such as this one have reached end of life as well. If you are interested in picking up maintainership, please post an issue to the queue.

DBFM Search is an optional add-on for the DBFM (DataBase File Manager) module.

This module enables indexing of files google-style inside DBFM's database and integrates with the standard drupal search function.
