This module allows you to search for users directly via text fields in their profile or profile2.

You decide which fields to search by default and you can filter by role. This module does not use or extend Drupals built-in user search.

The advantage is that you never need to wait for cron to index new users and when you add fields, they become searchable immediately.

To make use of this module, you will need to define some profile or profile2 text fields.

This module provides a simple integration with the Fonecta Totaali API. This is an API module and therefore provides no UI apart from a simple configuration form. Please note that an authorization bearer token is required to use this module.

Drupal 6 does not search taxonomy terms, this is the solution for that.

This module provides a block with a searchform to search in Google, Bing, Yahoo!, Alta Vista or Dogpile.

Install the module and activate it, and you'll find it in the block section. No configuration is required, but you can change the text, select the result to be displayed in the same browser window or in a new one. You can also choose whether you want the search engine option in a drop down menu or radio buttons. All configuration is done from block section.

Overview

Proof-of-concept module that integrates Drupal with the Apache Solr search engine via the popular Solarium library plus some extension projects. If you are looking to integrate with Apache Solr on production sites, the Apache Solr Search Integration module is currently the best solution available to Drupal.

This module enables the indexing of the contents of file in a File field along with the entity it is attached to in the Apache Solr search index. For example enabling this module for a file field on the Article content type with an attached PDF would allow searching for terms found in the PDF to return the article node in search results.

By default the apachesolr module index comments attached to the node. So you can not search comments directly. This module separates comments from the nodes and allows you to search them directly.
