Overview

Mega menus are a type of drop-down, which seeks to overcome some of the usability drawbacks of traditional drop-downs. Hierarchy of your navigation is made visible all at once and the amount of clicking, searching, and navigating is reduced.

This module allows you to build mega menus by leveraging jQuery and the existing Drupal menu system. Megamenu takes a Drupal menu that is 3 levels deep, and converts it into a categorized 3-level mega menu, which is placed into your site as a block.

Standard menu tree editor consumes too much memory. Menu editor with about 1000 items reaches 64Mb memory limit.

Tiny Menu Editor adds options to change menu tree editor and save memory, so you'll not reach memory limit with so small number of menu items.

How it works. Module replaces standard menu tree editor with custom version (it's based on standard, only differ is memory saving options).

You can find options at "Administer -- Site Building -- Menus", tab "Tiny editor settings".

Site builders sometimes remove block titles to achieve a certain design or to remove redundancy for sighted users (e.g. the search block has a "search" form label, a "search" submit button and a "search" heading.)

Unfortunately, removing these titles harms site usability for some users.

This module allows site builders to visually hide titles while still allowing “open access” to their web sites by making the titles accessible.

Menu Parent is a module that allows menus to be mapped as children of other menus.

Why do I need this module? Can't menu items be nested normally?
Yes they can. But if you need the ability to allow certain users or roles to administer sections of the menu tree, the easiest thing to do is use the Menu Admin Per Menu module.
