Syndication

Let's say that you want to deploy content from your staging site to production, or more generally, from one site to another (or multiple) sites. You could use Deployment, but what if you prefer a pull model over a push model? Then Syndeploy is for you. Changes are published via a feed, and then other sites can slurp them in. The slurping portion is to be handled by a corresponding Feeds processor plug-in.

This module is for Drupal 7.x.

Overview

The Advanced Aggregator module is designed to make Drupal's core Aggregator module (in version 7 and beyond) more useful, flexible, and scalable. In short, it makes Aggregator feeds "fieldable," adds additional Views integration for Aggregator feeds and items, checks and logs errors (bad HTTP status codes and parse errors) encountered when importing, adds helpful UI components to promote scalability, and provides an "upgrade path" for users who formerly depended on the Feeds module.

This module uses SimpleXML to parse the feeds and does not require additional libraries.

Note: the XML-RPC API won't be available after 2014-06-30. If there is continued interest in this project we'd need to switch to the REST-API.

Case Tracker is an excellent and extensible project management module that is notably a core component of Open Atrium. With the help of the Feeds module, we can now share cases across multiple sites.

The content api module is a resource for Services 3.x in Drupal 6. Content API exposes a new 'content' type resource to Services which implements an index and retrieve functions for nodes. The index function allows advanced querying of nodes to match selected criteria.

This is a small module which uses twitter_pull module to obtain data from twitter and output it as JSON.

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Git Commit Logs is a simple module which pull git logs (date, author, email, message, hash fields) from the provided git project URL in a node and store them in database against node nid.

This can be used if one want to see his/her module/project logs automatically pulled and stored into database. This module has views integration so one can show logs in any format and place.

Dependencies : Git should be installed on machine and accessible from command line.
