The Siteminder module allows for users to authenticate to a Drupal site when the site is being run within the Siteminder environment. This module provides integration with the new kind of website authentication system - PassWindow - Visual password authentication for Payment Cards, Company Cards, Club Cards, Gift Cards, Prize Cards.
Users simply hold their ordinary plastic member card with unique printed segment pattern directly over any computer display to read their dynamic password securely.
We are using the shieldpass.com online service to provide the passwindow technology to the masses.
Field Permissions Plus provides View Own Field and Edit Own Field permissions for CCK fields. It provides this functionality by superceding and expanding on the Content Permissions module packaged with CCK, granting access to fields whether a given user has View Field or View Own Field permission.
"Own" refers to ownership of the node. The author is able to View/Edit their "own" fields.
This solves #363950: Edit own field permission.
Finnish banks' Tupas certification service allows businesses and organisations providing Internet services to authenticate their customers with Tupas certificates issued by the Tupas service. In the Tupas service a bank authenticates a customer by a strong authentication method. The Tupas certificates issued by the service can also be used for signing documents electronically if so agreed by the customer and the service provider.
Controls access to content types by IP addresses and hostnames
Hint provides a simple API for adding JavaScript "hint" text to text and password fields. The "hint" is shown inside of the text field until the user clicks or gives focus to the text field, then the hint text is cleared, allowing the user to enter their own content.
The Zendesk remote authentication module allows you integrate the Zendesk support service with your Drupal site and synchronize drupal users with zendesk.
Word of Warning:
Don't use this module without testing in a sandbox, or a fresh zendesk install so you don't lose data. While this module does work, the module needs testing and testers!
The CAS Server module turns a Drupal install into the central
authentication system.
This stand-alone module is replacing the CAS Server component of the CAS module. It is maintained by a subset of the maintainership of that module.
It is currently under active development for Drupal 8 only. DRUPAL 7 AND EARLIER ARE NOT SUPPORTED IN ANY CAPACITY.

This module allows single sign-on to Drupal using external HTTP authentication. Current version only supports basic authentication method and users must have matching REMOTE_USER header from external system and in Drupal username. This means you will have to manually manage both Drupal users and user accounts on your external system. Future versions of the module may include option of automatically creating new users to Drupal with preset user roles.
