User Access & Authentication

Workbench Access creates editorial access controls based on hierarchies. It is an extensible system that supports structures created by other Drupal modules.

When creating and editing content, users will be asked to place the content in an editorial section. Other users within that section or its parents will be able to edit the content. A user may be granted editorial rights to a section specific to his account or by his assigned role on the site.

The module supports Taxonomy and Menu modules for the management of access hierarchies.

Note that the module only controls access to content editing. It does not provide any content filtering of access restrictions for users trying to view that content.

This module provides a way to transparently log users into the web site when they follow a link. The primary use is for mass email where users are send individualized URL’s which take them to a page on the site, in a “logged in” state. Every effort has been made to minimize the potential security risks.

KeyCAPTCHA - CAPTCHA with social features. You may support charity funds by using KeyCAPTCHA. Unlike many other captchas, it does not require any text typing.

This module will create an URL for logging in as a specified user. It is convenient to demonstrate the functioning of your site, allowing users to click to log in as a demo user.

Social Connect for Drupal 7

This module allows users to login on a Drupal website through the Facebook and Hyves – using their Facebook or Hyves login and password.

The module also brings other extra features:

• Admin can allow user profile fields update with Hyves and Facebook data
• Admin can configure field mapping and customize login buttons

NOTE! HyvesConnect JS supports only IE8 or greater

Differences from other modules:

Restricts access to premium content by role and provides a general API for other modules to help decide if a user has access to premium content.

This is useful on a news or membership site where teasers are available to the general public but the full body is only available to privileged users. Premium nodes appear in listings with full title and teaser available to anyone. If a user does not have adequate privileges, the default behavior is to show a simple message, but you can use Panels or theme overrides to do more custom things.

The D7Permissions module ports some of the useful functionality that has been included in the Drupal 7 roles and permissions system into Drupal 6:

1) Set the order that roles will appear in on the permissions page.
2) Display all roles as "checked" (aside from anonymous) when a permission has "authenticated user" checked.

Taxonomy based Access Control List module provides taxonomy-based access to the nodes. tacl module provides only a common API but this package also contains a "frontend" - tacl_user that allows for managing per-user, taxonomy based permissions.

The target audience are site builders (tacl_user) and developers (tacl).

Views languages user filter allows you to filter content in a view depending on the selected language user's profile

Within the user settings, we find a list of languages, where the user can choose which are the languages you want to filter.

In views you can find the filter that will filter content for selected languages of the user connected.
