Like all Debut features, Debut Article can be integrated either as a stand-alone feature to quickly add article functionality to any Drupal site or as part of a Drupal distribution.

Installing

You have two options for installing Debut Article:

• Debut Article is used in the Open Outreach Drupal distribution aimed at nonprofits, so you can install it as part of Open Outreach.
• Install manually along with the dependencies listed below.

Includes

• Article content type with accompanying image field.
• Article view with page listing, recent articles block, and RSS feed.
• Integration with Pathauto.
• Menu item for article landing page.
• Context handling of breadcrumbs, active menu, and block display.

This module provides a simple way to show a short-term urgent message on the website. Think of CNN Breaking News, when they show a short message the top of the site (or the 'Welcome!' style messages at StackExchange websites). This module works for both anonymous and authenticated users by using a cookie, and recording actions in the database. This solves the need to show messages independent of the users authenticated status.

Overview

This module creates a 'superuser' role, and grants all permissions to that role. It also defines a new permission, 'administer software updates', which allows any user with the superuser role to run update.php without having to alter the $access_check (D5) or $update_free_access (D6) variables.

This module requires the Permissions API module.

This module helps improve search on Danish Drupal sites by reducing words to their stem. It implements the Danish stemming algorithm described by the Snowball project.
