Drupal 7 Nice-to-Have(s)
1. Export fields and instances to code. D6 included an export feature in CCK Content. This is a little helper that does the same, but outputs the function call for field_create_field() and instance_create_instance().
An example module showing how the UI of Taxonomy Access module can be simplified if we enforce certain restrictions.
For testing, probably best to enable this at the same time as Taxonomy access without doing any prior configuration of Taxonomy Access.

Twingly Pane is an easy to install and configure pane to use with ctools and page manager to show a Twingly widget on your site for certain URLs.
Install and activate.
In Page manager you could ad a Twingly pane from the category Simple pane widgets. You can now ad a URL to see Twingly links for.
Magic Index is currently a simple form for installing Drupal sites as subdirectories of a root virtual host on a local development server. At the very least, you'll need a LAMP stack, drush, and drush_make to get started. If you develop on a Gnu/Linux machine (preferably Ubuntu) and have inotify-tools installed, it will also automatically chown your site directories after they are installed so that Eclipse can create a new PHP project at the site's location using the site's existing source.
The menu_tag module allows you to control the display of menu items through a settable tag of a single menu item. Then, for every block that displays a menu, you can select a tag that filters what menu items should be displayed. For instance, you can use this method to control the visibility of menu items in blocks that display Main and Secondary menu on some specific page.
LaunchPlug is an e-mail subscription and referral module where your (anonymous) users are able register their e-mail on your website so that you could update your users via newsletters, and allow users to share with their friends about your website. This is very useful to create a front-page viral campaign website.
This is a bundled module developed for LaunchBuzz distribution. If you wish to use this as a standalone module, you need to do very few configurations.
The predictable_tests module registers minimal tests which are predictable, i.e. they always or never pass. You know which result to expect.
