Node displays is a replacement for the node build modes and the field / display settings screen provided by CCK. You can select per build mode which field is displayed, give it an order and render it in a node region. It is part of the Display Suite concept and is an implementation of its API.

Support and integration with core (search) and contrib (like CCK, fivestar and ubercart) modules is available at the Node displays contributions project.

This module provides a simple select list above the node body field on all node add and edit forms (for users appropriately permissioned) allowing users to pick the name of a saved snippet of mark-up to place in the node body field. It will replace the contents of the node body field entirely with the saved snippet.

Users can save a snippet by creating mark-up in the node body field and specifying a new snippet name in the Mark-up Snippets interface. If a name is provided (and it is unique) then a new snippet will be saved in the database when the node is saved for later use.

This module adds workflow_ng (in Drupal 5) and Conditional Actions (in Drupal 6) support to Ubercart payment methods, so payment methods can be restricted by cart total, user role, or any other conditions that these modules provide.

Description

This module will add a block that will display a countdown timer indicating "Is it out yet?" for each Ubuntu release. This will countdown the days until the next version of Ubuntu is released.

After much work, most of the settings have been removed. At this point, you can choose from any of the available banners or your own custom code.

Description

This module will add a block that can be displayed in the header area. The Ubuntu Drupal Theme has a specific region for this. A different header can be specified for each content type.

The biggest benefit to this module is the ability to display a specific banner for content types.

Description

This module will add a page to your site (/planet). This will function similarly to PlanetPlanet which powers planet.ubuntu.com. One significant difference between this module and the aggregator module is the fact that any user can edit their own feeds. If a user uploads their own image, that image will be displayed along with their post.

This module contains significant styling to make the page look like planet.ubuntu.com.

Post tasks and have users commit to doing them. Then mark the task completed. This module creates a node type and uses the uid and promote flag to make a 3 stage workflow.

Permit own permissions provides a new permission, share permissions, and anyone given this permission can add or remove any permission she has from any role. They will be able to access admin/people/permissions

Problem:

A site is beautifully set up and guards against catastrophic user error (blowing things up) while giving the person you made it for as much flexibility and power to add to it as is possible... almost.

This module is to make recommendations for points-based voting modules including Vote Up/Down and Plus 1. You have to enable either of them in order to use this module.

What is a "Link Resolver"?

A link resolver is software that accepts and parses properly formed OpenURL data (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenURL) and uses this data to direct users to holdings at their respective institution. In other words, it checks to see if the institution owns a copy of or license for the resource and directs the user to it, generally through a link.
