Some content/nodes should never be viewed directly; only visible be through something else such as Views or Panels. This module denies access to node/[nid] URLs while allowing the content to stay published and otherwise viewable.

This module integrates the KCFinder file manager to Drupal in 2 ways:
You can control which roles can use wich features with different permissions. Users can share a common folder or have different folders depending on the configuration.
Media has an input filter, and WYSIWYG integration for inserting the syntax for that input filter, but no way to embed media outside WYSIWYG. This module fills that gap, by adding an "insert" link next to media fields. When clicked, the links will insert a reference to the corresponding media file into the body field.
If you want to take this over, just ask. Otherwise, there no plans to develop it further.
