The Slash theme is originally from Slashcode. I found a version for PHP-Nuke that I later converted to Postnuke and now to Drupal. I would call it a retro theme, it's certainly not modern or fancy.
The main style is dark red and there are additional styles that are, black, blue (MacSlash) and green (Slashdot). Tables are used for the three column layout, the main header and the header for nodes and boxes. For the rest CSS is used.
argeebee is a theme that aims at real easy colorscheme based themeing.
Without becoming too technical, this means you only need to change approximately nine colours in a CSS file, and viola, you have your personal theme.
Note for 5.0 Users.
Since Drupal 5 comes with Garland, which is an argeebee on steroids, I will disconinue development in favor of the garland theme.
This theme uses PHPtemplate.
This is a Drupal port of William Pramana's Golden Gray Wordpress theme. The markup and core styles are based on the bluemarine Drupal theme. It has been tested with Firefox 1.5, Opera 8.5, and IE 6 on Drupal 4.7.0-beta4 with a modicum of modules (forum, blog, image, and other core modules) enabled.

This theme is a port of Nifty Corners Layout by Alessandro Fulciniti.
This theme is fixed width for 1024x768 resolution (960px for header image). It supports 3 columns layout and can be 2 columns if you disable the right sidebar. It supports logo/slogan/mission and looks ok in IE/Firefox.

Social SEO (formerly SEOposition.com) decided to contribute their customized theme to the drupal community. The theme was originally based on the andreas01 theme, both the left and right sidebars are located on the right hand side of the content and a new region was added which spans both left and right sidebars.
This is a fixed width 2 column layout PHPTemplate theme with randomly changing pictures in the upper part of every page.
The theme is ready to use, however you have to replace image files in logo directory with your own ones and put your own logo.
A sober but stylish theme, good for blogs.
