List Transitions

Overview

The list transitions module allows site builders to control the transitions from one value to another in a list field. In essence, this module can be used in tandem with projects such as Node access user reference and Field Permissions to create rudimentary workflows.

For publishing workflows, the Workbench module is the preferred solution and is probably the best option available. This module is intended for much simpler, non-publishing workflows that do not have access control on the entity based on the field's value.

Usage

Follow the standard Drupal module installation guide. For lists where transitions are desired, use the "Select list with transitions" widget. After selecting the widget, edit the field and visit the "List Transitions" tab. You can then add transitions and assign permissions to limit who can perform the various transitions.
