Summary Reports

For general reports, you can use the views module.
There are some other modules available to address the need of custom SQL queries.

This module provides simple options to build summary reports for different content types, users.

Reports will include, but not limited to
1. Details of content created in a duration(Week, Month, Year ... etc)
2. Number of users who have participated in creating the content
3. Number of users created account in the Portal, grouped by current role. Roles to view the reports can be configured.
4. Block listing the summary statistics like Page's 40, Story's 100... etc, message, contenttypes to display in the block being configurable.

This is a Sand box Project, intended to be developed quickly.

Right now two simple reports and a block are added

Reports can be accessed directly from Administration->Reports->Content Summary, Administration->Reports->User Summary

Block Summary Reports shows up in the Sitebuilding->blocks section, which can configured, placed in the region you like

Drupal 6, 7 modules are ready with simple functionality.
Once the summary_reports becomes as drupal project, will add option to choose weekly, monthly, annual reports.

Any other ideas on enhancing the module/feature requests are welcome.
