A Drupal 7 field module to hold budget request line items.
Description
A budget request consists of a text description, a quantity, unit cost, and requested amount. In addition the total cost and other funding are automatically calculated.
This module provides a budgetfield line item element for use in forms, with jQuery autocomplete for the calculated fields.
The module also provides a budgetfield field type which may be attached to entities. The input widget is a basic form or an advanced table with AJAX and Javascript based calculation of column sums.
Technical Details
The field element is a nice example of a field widget which displays a field with field_cardinality > 1 in a table with tabledrag. A similar effect could be accomplished using Field Collection and Field Collection Table.
