This module will track clicks of links through the fields "Link" module, storing each individual URL and click time (as Unix timestamp) in the link_track table.
General concerns:
- that table could get HUGE. How to efficiently archive?
- is this an accurate way to track?
TODOs
- I would like to give the user the option to rewrite the URL to the tracking page using JavaScript (how it currently is) -OR- just blindly replace. The concern with the blind-replace is that search engines who follow the link will be recorded. Maybe that's what they want, maybe not.
- I still need to add reporting to the actual clicks, something filter like aggregation by month to start. We could also add charting maybe, to see when the link was hottest that month?
