Magento notifier is another version of synchronization products from Magento to Drupal: products are not requested from Drupal (like it is done in default version of drupal-magento modules) but are sent from Magento. When a product gets updated in Magento it is saved into the queue, products from the queue are sent to Drupal XML-RPC service provided by this module.
