User Links provides an extension to the profile module to add service links to a user. The services can be represented by either an icon (configurable size) or text, and link the users account on that service.
The module supports a multitude of services, currently the list includes but is not limited to:
- Google+
- Skype
- YouTube
- Delicious
- Steam
- Github
- Drupal.org
Which ones users can add is configurable by the administration and links will not display if they are not set. The user (or admin) can also determine if the links shall be shown in the signature or just on the user page.
Future Additions
- Ability for administrators to add fields for services not included in the module
- Customize the order of visible links using weights.
- Provide only user handle, and module will know how to format the link, especially useful for skype: and mailto: and other such links.
