Though this is a sandbox project, on the offhand you've found this page or have used this module, please consider using the Flush Page Cache module instead.

This module creates a block containing a button that an admin can place in any region for selected roles that clears the cache for that particular page.

Use Cases

There are numerous situations, especially on larger, highly traffic websites, where pages end up "looking broken" because a single page gets rendered improperly and that improper render gets cached. This is a useful one-click tool to give to content editors/admins who come across that page that "looks broken." This can also be useful if editors edit content and want the change to go out immediately rather than waiting for the page/cck caches to expire.

Installation

1. Enable the module
2. Give trusted roles the "clear this cache" permission.
3. Move the "Page Cache Clear Button" block into appropriate region.
