Trackfield-Drupal7

This is currently a port of Trackfield for Drupal 7.

I like what this module does and I find it generally an easy, well thought out module to use. With a disappointing number of alternatives, module development seems to have stood still for a while.

That being said I have a vision, though not necessarily for this module: -

• Use of a common geospatial storage api along the lines of what Geo was working towards. This is something I hope becomes a concern for Core at some point.
• Only non-geographic data should be stored by this module.
• Views Integration, specifically integration with the Gmap and/or Openlayers plugins for Views. I want to be able to populate a track/linestring on to a map with other location data via views.
• Use of a common Graph api that is pluggable, with a dual emphasis for both server and client side graphing. Look at Charts and Charts & Graphs.

Trackfield implements a lot of features on its own that I would like to find or produce common solutions, eg. geography data storage/output, graphing.
