This is a backport of the overlay module in Drupal 7!
It took a while but finally the first version is out. It only works for Drupal 6, there is no any plans to port it to D5 :P, but if you want to collaborate on it, feel wellcomed!!!
There are some functionalities that havent been ported yet, like refreshing regions.
I have to check the code out, clean some stuff, etc, and Im going to upload a README.txt which describes all the things that needed to be changed in order to make it work on D6. Overlay uses a lot of new functionalies of D7!!!
It only works well with Seven theme as the Administration theme, but it's going to be fixed ASAP.
