Total vote

Fivestar is great but..

Fivestar module gives you a good voting functionality to your site but it doesn't allow users to vote number of times to the same content.

Who should use this?

Say you have a site for rating restaurants. A user may login today and rate restaurant X. But what if the same user went to the same restaurant (X) a year later and he found out that it is much better then it was a year ago? He can only update his voting from a year ago. While you, the site administrator, want to keep that review from a year ago as well as the new one!

So how about this:
Attach the fivestar fields to the comments of the restaurant content type (thank you D7 :)).
This way a user can rate the restaurant and comment about it as many times as he likes (or as you will allow him to).

How does Total vote help?

With Total vote you can add a field to your restaurant content type that displays the average of all (or some) the fivestar fields in the comments.
