Description
Display Suite allows you to add Views block displays as fields to view modes. However, one problem is that you can't pass arguments to the view.
This is a very limited scope module designed to pass the node/term/user id to views included as block fields.
Instructions
- Go to example.com/admin/structure/ds/fields
- Add a new Block Field or edit an existing Block Field
- For the "Block" field, select a view that accepts an entity ID as a contextual filter (e.g. nodes tagged with term)
- Check the "Pass Entity ID as argument" option
- Save your Block Field
